Breakaway Baby

Leila Shah had her life all planned—until one reckless night changed everything. Notorious bachelor and captain of the Vancouver Vanguards, Ragnar Colton, has one rule: never mix ice and spice. That changes the night he's set to face off against his backstabbing ex-teammate and spots Leila Shah wearing his jersey, unable to take his eyes off her. Spurred by a dare, Leila finds herself in Ragnar's arms after their intimate date—then flees, humiliated, vowing to put the night behind her. Six weeks later, a positive pregnancy test disrupts her plans to forget him. About Rebecca

Rebecca Zorg writes emotionally charged romance with sharp edges — slow-burn, high-angst, enemies-to-lovers stories where old grudges and body-checks hit equally hard. Her debut, Breakaway Baby, is a women's-fiction-meets-suspense hockey romance; her upcoming novel, The Penalty Box, pits a fiercely loyal pub owner against the NHL star who doesn't remember he ruined her life. Swedish-American and now based in Vancouver, Rebecca holds a BA in Publishing and an MA in Creative Writing — though her writing career really began at age four, when she made a break for the local library and left her mother chasing her down the street. When she's not plotting the next slow burn, she's at a live show with her husband, camping somewhere with no cell service, or sweating it out in hot yoga.
