“She calls him poison. He never left her system.”
She's hated him for seven years. He doesn't even remember her name.
The Author
Rebecca Zorg writes character-first romance — the kind where the people drive the plot and the tension does the talking. Her debut, Breakaway Baby, began the night she learned her sister was pregnant: she set aside the romantic suspense she'd been drafting and wrote a hockey romance about one positive test that changes everything. (The book is dedicated to her sister and the baby who started it all.) Her next novel, The Penalty Box, trades meet-cutes for grudges — a slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers story seven years in the making.
Swedish-Persian with chosen roots in Vancouver, BC, Rebecca tucks little pieces of home into every book — look closely and you'll find them. She holds a BA in Publishing and an MA in Creative Writing, the latter earned chasing a dark-academia idea that refused to leave her alone. Off the page, she's at a live show, elbow-deep in an arts-and-crafts workshop, dancing, or reminding her puppy Freya — named for a warrior, nicknamed Scrappy for accuracy — that she is, in fact, the cutest.
